Global Skills Development was established in 2004 and became one of the first accredited service providers in South Africa to provide firearms proficiency training in assisting people to become licensed firearm owners under the  new Firearms Control Act (Act No 60 of 2000). Over the past 15+ years we have provided training to more than 40 000 people all over South Africa.

Our head office is situated in George and we also have a branch office in Dana Bay near Mossel Bay. We are registered with both the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the Professional Firearms Training Council (PFTC). Previously we were also registered with POSLEC seta as well as SASSETA.

Global Skills are also affiliated to the George Sport Shooting Club shooting range where we do practical assessments with various firearms. This accredited shooting range and sport shooting club is also one of the oldest clubs in the Garden Route and are run by a very professional management team. We also have an accredited shooting range at Mossel Bay where practical assessments are being conducted.
